What a lovely fun class to start this show with and what a lovely bundle of fun that won the class for me.
1st Emerton L WATERSMEET THE TEMPEST Best Baby Puppy 3 months old, full of character, full of type, made a lovely compact shape on the table and for one so young when it came to move, he really showed his character. Has a lovely head and eye, beautiful work in the head for the age, lovely bone, nicely ribbed for his age, nice compact shape, lovely tail set, nice sound movement throughout, shows a lot of promise. What a lovely young fellow to win the first class. Thank you

1st Davies Miss T A ESPANIEL REACH OUT FOR MACDOLLY (IMP NZ) Winner at just 3 months is a beautiful young black, absolutely a miniature of what you might wish to see at 2 years old. Beautiful balance throughout, lovely compact shape, real melting expression, lovely well rounded front legs, great chest, lay back, beautiful in ribs, lovely back end which just fits everything else, all put together beautifully and when it came to move, real character on the move for such a young baby, real prospect.

2nd Keely/McFadden ALHAMBRA VINNIE JONES Dark blue of 4 ˝ months old, obviously that little bit more mature than the winner, but many of the same remarks apply. Lovely compact cocker type, nice head and eye, good bone, good body shape over all, very good sound mover.

2nd Heatlie D & Mrs S MISTDUKE CLASSIC BLACK Another black, very close up, scores in head and eye, lovely substance throughout, excellent well boned legs, very good in ribs, coat at an in between stage but that is what you would expect at this age, lovely strong back end and also a very good mover.

3rd Keely /McFadden ALHAMBRA GEORGIE BEST another dark blue of 4 ˝ months, looking very promising for his age. Lovely character, good bone, nice masculine head, good head and eye, very nicely ribbed for his age, moved with a lot of character.

3rd Sticher Mrs S & M MANUNGA GOLD DIGGER A golden of different type, has done quite a lot of growing already but will finish out with age, very kind eye, good legs, nice coat for age, moved with good character.

1st O’Keefe A C GLENAYDEN TO THE MOON Opp Sex to Best Baby Won by a 14 week old model of balance, femininity and I have to say, excellent behaviour, really scores in kindness of eye and head, lovely straight well boned front legs and nice lay back of shoulder, lovely ribs for this age, coat excellent quality, lovely back end and it really came together on the move, moved with a lot of character. This is a real prospect for the future I am sure.

1st Woodward G MILLOCK MAKING WAVES Won by a very feminine black, looking very well for her age, scores in kindness of eye, very nice head at this stage, nice chest, good lay back of shoulder, nicely ribbed, coat in very good condition for a young age, nice back end, very good tail set and moved nice and steadily with good character.

2nd Emerton L WATERSMEET PEEK A BLUE Another blue, very young also, giving a little bit away in precision of movement but bags of time to learn how to do it properly. With a little bit of time she moved very well coming back to the judge, scored also in head and eye, good front and legs, lighter compact shape and lay back of shoulder, lot of style throughout, I sure she will do well.

2nd Sticher Mrs S & M MANUNGA GOLD N DIAMONDS A golden, very pleasing head, kind eye, goods legs and feet, very nice ribs for this stage, good back end also moved well, just pipped by that little extra drive of the winner.

3rd Royoni Kennels ROYONI HERE I AM- A 5 month old bitch of slightly different type, at this stage has done all her growing and will grow into herself I am sure. A little naughty today, but bags of time to get it all together, nice head and eye, very good in ribs and a very strong back end. Nice coat for her age eventually moved very well.
